Randy's Whois Tool

This utility is designed to help you find as much information as is available about any domain name or IP number. It will connect with the different whois servers around the world and retrieve all that is available from the organizations who have the details.

I have built it to be helpful in tracking down where spam mail sent to you originates from based upon the IP number in the mail header.It is however also quite useful if you are researching domain names or even to see who is hosting a site.

To use this tool simply type the domain name, sans the www. portion (ie domain.com instead of www.domain.com) or the IP number into the form above and hit the Check Domain button. If you get some sort of error simply try clicking the Check Domain button again. The tool does not pre-validate submitted data to make sure it is correctly formatted (no spaces, no www., etc) however I have built a little auto correction routine into it so that it should strip those sort of things when the page reappears.

If you are looking for an address to report UCE/Spam to, typically you should be able to perform a quick search of the results looking for the word abuse and find exactly what you're looking for.

I have tried to include as many of the major whois servers as possible, however there are literally thousand of smaller ones that may not be included.
