Depth Footnote: The Link Depth selection can have a drastic effect on the tool's performance. The deeper you check, the longer it will take. Exponentially longer. Checking 50 links means checking 50 links for each of the 10 sites, so 500 links total. Whereas checking 250 links means you're asking the tool to retrieve and parse through 2500 links. So if the tool times out before it can finish you'll want to decrease the Link Depth.
As a general rule you'll usually want to select a lower number for the depth. I rarely check more than 50 deep, occasionally 100 deep. Since Yahoo tends to show more important links towards the top of their results list, by checking a lesser depth you can effectively filter out a lot of extraneous noise. While also helping the tool to complete its run more quickly.
Optional Additional Site Footnote: The additional site form is there to allow you to manually insert your own site, or any other site for that matter, into the results. Even if it doesn't currently have a Top 10 ranking. The format is not important since the tool automatically handles more urls. You can use the http://www.yoursite.com type of address, www.yoursite.com or even yoursite.com.
Any Additional Site entry will show up in the #1 position, even though this is not its actual ranking. For the purposes of this tool the numbers are for reference only. Also, if the additional site does rank in the Top 10 it will be listed only once. The tool automatically strips out duplicate entries from the same domain.
